Our software development team is constantly improving RFO Central through adding new functionality, new features and general performance improvements.

Here’s the round-up of updates rolled out in the last month:

Greater flexibility in associating documents to tags

In many cases there are documents such as P&IDs, photographs, etc. that need to be associated to specific tags. Previously, documents could only be associated to a tag if that document existed in the database file system. The paperclip icon was either white to indicate there were no associated documents, or green to indicated that associated documents existed.

With the most recent update, documents can now be associated to tags without the requirement for the actual document to exist in the file system. Additional color indicators have been added to the attachment icon to indicate the status of associated documents, making it easier to see at a glance what documents exist and which are still needed:

  • Green – all of the documents referenced by the tag exist in the file system
  • Yellow – some of the documents referenced by the tag exist in the file system
  • Red – none of the documents referenced by the tag exist in the file system
  • White – there are no documents referenced by the tag

To see what documents have been associated to the tag and which ones have been uploaded to the file system, click on the relevant attachment icon for a detailed list.

Improved dashboard experience

The Dashboard tab has been given a facelift, making it cleaner and easier to navigate, allowing more space for important data visualizations and simplifying the filtering so you can get to the specific information you need more quickly.
